Move to Urban Environments

Forward Projections

The move toward urban environments is increasing and will continue. This drive is mainly because in the one instance it takes fewer farm laborers to produce food and milk, which earlier required substantial physical proximity, while, on the other, not only are jobs becoming scarcer per head of population but projections are that the one job for life is now outdated and in future people are likely to have perhaps 40 different roles through which to earn income, if they even have jobs at all.
