Abstract
Future energy prosperity depends on renewable energy. India’s cheapest energy source is solar power, which has a huge energy potential and produces no hazardous by-products as a renewable energy source. Solar energy systems are now widely available for business and household usage and require very little maintenance. Tax rebates and credits may make solar energy financially viable. Solar power is increasingly popular in wealthier countries. Modern architects design photovoltaic cells and electronics. The National Solar Mission aims to improve India’s energy security and promote ecologically responsible economic growth. It will be India’s main contribution to global climate change efforts. The National Solar Mission aspires to make India a global leader in solar energy by promoting its fast spread. The Mission’s short-term goal is to expand solar energy consumption nationwide. “India is a tropical nation with lengthy, intense sunlight,” states the National Action Plan on Climate Change. Solar power has great potential as a sustainable energy source. Decentralized energy delivery provides local communities with more control over their lives and economies.
