Abstract
The generation of clean energy is crucial to sustainable growth and worldwide environmental concerns caused by climate change. Renewable energy sources have previously demonstrated their low or zero carbon emission generation efficiency. Now, the idea of a microgrid is to have a self-maintained system that consists of numerous energy resources, which can help to operate the microgrid during the collapse of the grid. As a microgrid utilizes numerous energy sources, the energy must be managed in a safe, smart, coordinated, and reliable manner. We have attempted to analyze some research papers to learn about the limitations of microgrid energy management systems and discover how to manage energy in a microgrid in a much smarter way. This document provides essential background for our ongoing efforts, as it details methods for controlling the power in microgrids.
