Defense Acquisition Teamwork: Roles, Responsibilities, and More

A team is a group of people working together for a common goal. A U.S. defense acquisition team includes members of various functional organizations—buyer, seller (prime contractor), and supply-chain partners (subcontractors)—working together to achieve common U.S. military goals. Today, defense acquisition teams are typically called integrated solution teams, or integrated project teams (IPTs).
