Analyzing and Reporting Results
Abstract
This chapter focuses on analyzing and reporting the findings from usability studies. We begin by outlining the approach for analyzing data, which includes compiling the data, summarizing the data, and interpreting the data. We provide guidance and examples for completing each step in the process, including both a detailed version as well as a simplified version for surveys conducted in an agile environment. We then discuss approaches for revising usability problems. Finally, we describe the key components to include when reporting the results of your study.
