Use Duet AI to Generate Tables in Google Sheets
Duet AI embeds the power of generative AI in Google Workspace apps. With its integration in Google Sheets, Duet AI enables users to instantly generate data tables. It’s a powerful way to quickly and easily create templates for your projects.
How to Generate Data Tables
First, open the sidebar from the “Help me organize” button. In the sidebar, write a prompt that describes the data table you want to generate, as shown in the following screenshot. Include any specific details that you want Duet AI to use.

For example, you might want to create a to-do list for a product launch with this prompt (shown in the following image): Create a to-do list for a product launch with status updates “Not started”, “In progress”, “Complete”. Also include due date, owner, and category.

Click “Create” for Duet AI to generate the data table and show a preview in your Sheet. Click “Insert” to add the preview to your Sheet or “X” to cancel the suggestion. You can also click “Create” again in the sidebar to make Duet AI generate a new table if you don’t like the initial suggestion. Use the thumbs up or thumbs down to provide feedback as to whether Duet AI’s suggestion was helpful. ...
