Duet AI for Google Workspace is a powerful tool that can help you write more persuasive emails by suggesting engaging and persuasive language and by helping you structure your emails in a way that is more likely to get the results you want.

In this Shortcut, you’ll learn how to use Duet AI to write more persuasive emails. Additionally, I’ll show you different prompts to increase the chances of the reader opening, reading, and replying to your email.

Help Me Write in Gmail

Duet AI for Google Workspace has a feature called Help me write that helps you write more persuasive emails. This feature not only allows you to generate an entire email from a prompt, but it also helps you sharpen and formalize emails that have already been written.

Upon clicking the “Help me write” feature in Gmail, you can:

Write your draft

Use your own words to describe the message you’d like to draft. “Help me write” also understands the context from previous messages in an email thread to craft reply drafts that are relevant to the conversation.

Formalize your draft

Change the tone of your draft to be more formal.

Elaborate on your draft

Add further detail to your email draft.

Shorten your draft

Decrease the length of your email draft.
