5. What to Score

There is definitely the need for a score that would allow everyone involved in the design and innovation process to understand how a product or service is really experienced by its intended audience.

The score would indicate if there are major differences between the experiences of different audience segments. For example, it would tell us if 6–8-year-old boys enjoy it more than 9–11-year-old girls, if the same age and gender group in two different cultures have different experiences, or if the same service across different ...
