Chapter 8. Application Monitor and COBOL
This chapter gives an example of using Application Monitor on a COBOL application.
It shows how to:
1. Set up the defaults for COBOL source line level analysis
2. Capture data for Delay Analysis reports
3. Capture data for a Data Set Analysis report
Conventions used
For the purposes of this chapter, all examples use product provided procs and utilities, and
we assume that they are properly customized. It is also assumed that Application Monitor is
properly installed and is available.
