Using Finder
The Finder application lists and manipulates all the files and folders on the computer. It takes its name from the fact that you can find anything on the Mac with the Finder. Primarily, you use Finder to find and open files, but its other functions also include creating new folders, and copying, moving, renaming, and deleting files and folders. This chapter covers all those tasks as well as how to customize many aspects of the Finder.
