7. Using E-mail

This chapter looks at the Outlook Mail window. It tells you how to set up an e-mail account and send, receive, and organize your e-mail.

The focus of this chapter is the e-mail component of Outlook. It covers the e-mail interface, plus how to set up an e-mail user account, view and read e-mail messages and attachments, send replies and attachments, organize messages in folders, find messages, and filter spam.

Exploring the Mail Interface

To open Mail, first open Outlook. Then, if necessary, click Mail (see Figure 7.1).
