Ben Bachmair was until 2008, Professor of Pedagogy, Media Education and Media Enhanced Learning at the University of Kassel. Currently he is a visiting professor at the Institute of Education, University of London. He is a founding member of the London Mobile Learning Group. His specialisms include mass communication and education, media and learning, mobile learning, media socialisation, media reception and the role of media in cultural development.
