Required skillsets
IT-related projects are known to have high failure rates. Some estimates are as high as 80% and obviously depend upon how failure is being defined. Looked at more broadly, failure can come in the way of missed deadlines, overstretched budgets, scope changes that cannot be met based on the chosen solution, etc. The reality is that the list is endless and can encompass any aspect related to a project that you can think of. And although it is impossible to ensure project success, having the right people with the right skillsets can actually help ensure that projects go more smoothly.
