This chapter describes more of the algorithms the STL offers. Algorithms are commonly divided into two groups: mutating algorithms that change the range to which they are applied, and non-mutating algorithms. I’ll discuss the algorithms in this chapter subdivided into groups by what you can do with them, not by whether or not they change things.
