Overview of the Most Popular Methodologies
PDSA (plan, do, study, act), PDCA (plan, do, check, act), Lean, Six Sigma, and other scientific performance improvement methodologies adorn the walls in many different industries. Recipe madness, it is. I wish I had a nickel for each time I heard debates about one methodology being better than the other, which one should we start with first, and how complex one is compared to the other. Most problem-solving or process-improvement methodologies are described below using the steps and sequence in the methodology.
