It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The first question is: What is our purpose? In PDSA (plan, do, study, act), the question is the same: What are we trying to accomplish? The tool that we will now learn answers the question best and avoids the danger of missing any key element. Chartering work is actually the most important skill in process improvement and design.
