Valuation of Samsung Electronics

Abstract

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd is a South Korean multinational electronics company headquartered in Suwon, South Korea. The company was established in the year 1969. It is the flagship subsidiary of the Samsung Group, which contributes to approximately 70% of the group’s revenue. Samsung is a global leader in technology and ranks as a top global brand. Samsung Electronics has assembly plants and sales networks in 80 countries and employs approximately 1 lakh people. The models used for valuation are DDM, FCFE and FCFF. Relative valuation is also included.
