Before you can take the VCAP5-DCA exam, you must first pass one of the following exams: VCP5-DCV, VCP5-DT, VCP-Cloud, or VCAP4-DCA. So this book does not cover basic vSphere concepts in detail. We recommend that you research any topics mentioned in the exam blueprints guide that you do not fully understand. It can be found on VMware’s website, http://vmware.com/certification.
