Week 8: Tell the World

You can actually launch a successful venture with one email. That’s how Dawn Decosta got started. Working at the Apple Store didn’t give her the flexibility she wanted, but she acquired the skills to help others with Apple products. Wondering how she could make teaching computer skills into a business, Dawn decided, “Do what I love, the money will follow.” And it did. She sent out an email to her friends and family, and word of mouth spread about her teaching services. In a few weeks, clients were calling.
