Like the Great Masters of centuries ago, the video shooter today provides a unique window on the world, a proscenium arch through which we expose, compose, and exclude what is not essential to the story. It is through this portal and upon this stage that we as shooters apply our sweat and the many rudiments of good storytelling craft.

Visually compelling stories demand rigorous control of the frame. You shake the frame and weaken its walls if you better have a good storytelling reason.
