Working with Sound
This will probably come as a surprise to you, but many people believe that the most important part of video isn’t video at all—it’s sound. The viewer is a lot more forgiving of potential problems in the visuals than the audio. Present something with poor sound, and you will immediately lose a viewer’s attention.
Conversely, if you spend more time to fully develop the sonic component of your video, you may find it leads to higher levels of engagement. Sound has a way of transporting a person into the story, from the individual foreground and the background sounds to the soundtracks that support the emotional boost needed at key moments.
