If you are used to shooting still pictures, making the transition to video may feel like a big step.

Don’t be alarmed. Many of the skills you have already acquired about shooting stills—such as focus, lens selection, and controlling exposure—will transfer seamlessly to video. There are, however, some skills that are specific to video. You need to learn about these to make full use of this visual medium.
