In this lesson, you learn how to use hashtags to enhance the discoverability of your videos.
Understanding Hashtags
A hashtag is a special type of keyword you can include in the descriptions for your Vine videos. It’s essentially a keyword or phrase preceded by the hash (#) symbol.
Hashtags are clickable and searchable. When a viewer clicks on a hashtag in a video’s description, Vine displays other videos tagged with that same hashtag. You can also search Vine by hashtag; the search results include other videos with that tag.
A hashtag starts with the # symbol followed by a single word, like this: #car. You can employ multiple words, but they have to run together; a hashtag cannot contain any spaces. So, for example, ...
