Understanding Stop Motion Animation
Some of the most interesting Vine videos use multiple single-frame shots to create a stop motion effect. This is the type of animation that you’ve seen in numerous cartoons and movies, from the original King Kong and various fantasy films animated by the legendary Ray Harryhausen, to more modern efforts such as the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer holiday special, the Wallace and Gromit cartoons from Aardman Animations, and the Robot Chicken TV show.
