Our reason for writing this book is to inspire people all around the world to have better virtual sessions. We see a great potential out there – to have more virtual sessions to take care of our planet, be efficient and create flexible working conditions. And we also see a huge demand among our colleagues and clients to learn how virtual sessions can be facilitated with energy and engagement to ensure high quality virtual sessions. As we wrote in the beginning – virtual facilitation is a twenty-first century skill to build for you as a virtual facilitator and a capability of any modern organisation.

Throughout this book we have tried our best to share our extensive knowledge about best practice when facilitating virtual sessions such as meetings, workshops and training. Experience based on years of practice, both in traditional and virtual sessions. To give an idea of the amount of experience we have brought to you from Implement Consulting Group, we built upon more than 4,000 Zoom sessions and 160+ webinars and trained more than 7,000 people just within the first half of 2020.
