Adding imagery

To complete this phase of the project, we'll need to assign your collected images to the blank UI Image objects we used as placeholders. This is not a difficult process, but it does require one additional step which might not be obvious to new Unity users. Instead of applying standard imported image assets directly to the placeholders, we need to convert the image assets to sprites.

The process is outlined as followed:

  1. Right-click on Gallery Images in the Project window and choose Create | Folder.
  2. Rename the folder to match your gallery content. In our example, we created folders for Landscapes, Portraits, and Sculptures as shown in the following image:
