Active Directory Proof of Concept

After you have determined that your Active Directory workload is an excellent candidate for virtualization and have observed that it exhibits no abnormal behavior, you can proceed to a proof of concept. In this proof-of-concept scenario, we will show how to create the Active Directory virtual machine, synchronize time on the PDC emulator with the external stratum-1 time source, back up the Active Directory virtual machine, and verify Active Directory replication. Let’s get started.

Creating and Configuring the Active Directory Virtual Machine
