Virtualizing SQL Server Proof of Concept

Source Discovery has decided to extend the success of its virtualization projects to other server applications. With the successful virtualization of Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Internet Information Services, Source Discovery is confident it can now tackle SQL Server virtualization. It has captured the physical resource utilization and SQL Server–specific performance metrics using the VMware Capacity Planner tool.
