Chapter TwoThe First Key:The Participant-Centered Approach

The participant-centered approach is based on a certain design concept. The focus is on what the participants are experiencing. Significant energy goes into devising what the participants will talk about; significant time is devoted in the meeting to having the participants be in an active, contributing role.

Although this approach is still relatively rare, this is not a brand-new design concept.
