The virtuous meeting approach that we have discussed throughout this book is uniquely suited to the challenge of expanding the scale of meetings. In fact, this approach to large meetings was developed to meet the challenges of scale. Our effort over the last twenty years has been to find a way to preserve the individual's voice and contribution within ever-larger groups, so that those groups could come to a shared understanding and generate convergent outcomes.
