I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter Six The Means of Expression
SO HERE WE ARE, six chapters in and only now getting around to discussing the software on which this book is based. Must be a record. Conceptually, this is the middle of the book. The last five chapters were about foundational, important stuff. If you skipped them to get to the pictures of sliders in hopes of discovering the secret of this book, go back and start at the beginning. It’ll hurt less when I tell you there is, in fact, no secret. After you finish this chapter, you’ll move on to 20 smaller chapters cunningly disguised as one big one, and it’s the payoff for wading through the foundational stuff. But this one is about the tools themselves.
