Working with the Code Editor

The code editor in Visual Studio 2010 is now based on Windows Presentation Foundation. This innovation introduces new features to the Visual Basic code editor, too. Some of the new features are basically esthetical, whereas others are bound to enhance the coding experience. In this chapter we see just a few of the new IDE features, because the other ones are related to specific topics discussed later in the book. Particularly we now focus on the zoom functionality in the code editor, the gradient selection, and IntelliSense.
