Code refactorings allow you to reorganize portions of code without losing their original behavior. Refactoring code involves, among the other things, simplifying code blocks, making code more readable by introducing inline variables, and removing redundant code. As you learned earlier in the book, Visual Basic gets integrated support for refactoring for the first time in Visual Studio 2015. This support is possible because integrated refactorings are powered by the .NET Compiler Platform. As for analyzers, you can create custom code refactorings that you can share with other developers via NuGet packages or via VSIX packages.
