Chapter 9 presented four ways to create composites of scatter plots using PROC SGPANEL and the SCATTER statement. In Chapter 3, eight of its eleven examples were standalone scatter plots, using PROC SGPLOT and the SCATTER statement.

The focus of this chapter is composites of scatter plots created with PROC SGSCATTER and its PLOT, COMPARE, and MATRIX statements and time series plots created with the PLOT statement (using its JOIN option to connect the dots).
