Chapter 24. Gradients

A gradient fill is a gradual blend between two or more colors. In this chapter you’ll learn how to fill an object or objects with a gradient; create and save gradients; edit a gradient using the Gradient palette; and change the way a gradient fills an object or objects by using the Gradient tool. You’ll also learn how to use the Mesh tool, the Create Gradient Mesh command, and the Expand command to create painterly mesh objects, and how to modify mesh objects by adding, moving, deleting, and recoloring mesh points and lines.
