Chapter 25. Combine Paths
In this chapter, you’ll first learn about the Shape Mode commands, which create editable compound shapes. Second, you’ll learn about the Pathfinder commands, which divide, trim, merge, crop, outline, or subtract from multiple overlapping paths, producing a flattened, closed object or compound path. Finally, you’ll learn how to join two or more objects into a compound path, then add objects to, reverse an object’s fill in, and release compound paths.
