Chapter 11. Windows Live Movie Maker

Windows Live Movie Maker lets you use footage from a digital video camera, web camera, or other digital source as raw material for your own movies. You can combine video, still photos, and music tracks. Then you can edit; add titles, video transitions, and special effects; and save the result as a stand-alone file in Windows Media Audio/Video (.wmv) format. Your movie is ready to play or to share via email, web, DVD, or CD.

✓ Tip

  • Video editing is a computer-intensive activity that requires at least a 2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a fast hard drive (7200 rpm or better) with a lot of free space.
