Distributing your UWP app through sideloading
With Windows 8.X, Microsoft heavily promoted the idea of app distribution through their Windows Store. Indeed, we have covered this concept, because it is an easy way to sell and/or distribute your app to new and existing users. However, longtime Windows developers are used to the idea of controlling their application's distribution from start to finish. Additionally, there may be business reasons that make it impractical, if not impossible, to distribute a program through an outside vendor.
