12. Working with Team Foundation Build
This chapter explains the practicalities of building and integrating your team’s software in the way we described in the preceding chapter. We will introduce you to Team Foundation Build and show how you can use it to automate the process of building and testing the source files stored in your team’s repository. You will also learn how to perform incremental builds and optimize the dependencies between your code libraries so that you can scale up Team Build for larger code bases. The aim of the chapter is to help your team regularly create versions of its software and use the information generated to progress its work toward eventual deployment in the production environment.
