Review of Section 6: Explore by Modeling
THE OSPACS TEAM whose road map to Agility we presented in the Introduction now has a much better appreciation of how exploring problems with models will allow team members to achieve their aim of delivering software with a consistent level of quality. They undertook the following actions to improve the way modeling was done on the team:
- Model drawing—Every person on the team was expected to learn the basic notation for drawing Class diagrams and Sequence diagrams so that they could communicate better. They practiced producing these sorts of diagrams both freehand and with the use of tools such as Class Designer and Visio.
