Nonpersistent desktops
A nonpersistent desktop is a vDesktop that is not assigned to a specific end user, and instead, is made available to the end user population.
For example, in the preceding figure, if User_1 signs in to a View environment, they are assigned one of the available vDesktops (for example, vDesktop_9). When they log off and then log back in to the View environment, they are randomly assigned another available vDesktop from the pool.
A vDesktop may only have a maximum of one owner at any given time.
