Consuming Services
Up to now most of the focus of this book has been from the perspective of the provider whose role is building infrastructure and services. In a private cloud, the role of provider is typically filled by the corporate IT department or a shared service team. This chapter will focus on common ways consumers will use the capacity provided to build, customize, and deploy vApps. We will use the example of a typical finance department and how its administrators deploy applications as vApps in a number of different use cases.
