This book represents only the beginning of the discussion of virtualization security because we have just brushed the surface of what will be involved. As one of the book’s technical reviewers has pointed out, each chapter could be extended into a book unto itself. Although this may not have been the intent, I agree with this assessment. There is much more research to do and many more configurations to test for compliance and security. Unfortunately, the tools to assess every security item brought up in this book do not exist today, and that will spur more tools, probes, and work to be done within the virtualization security field.
