I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding a home control device to Google Home
Personally, I use the Google Home device to control my lights at home and other home devices. As an example, let's learn how to set up an Insignia Wi-Fi smart plug (http://bit.ly/2iPANZx). The smart plug will allow you to control any device that is plugged in using voice commands:
- Go and buy an Insignia Wi-Fi Smart Plug (http://bit.ly/2iPANZx).
- Download the Insignia Connect application on your phone.
- Start Insignia Connect and either create an account or sign in.
