Adding a home control device to Google Home

Personally, I use the Google Home device to control my lights at home and other home devices. As an example, let's learn how to set up an Insignia Wi-Fi smart plug (http://bit.ly/2iPANZx). The smart plug will allow you to control any device that is plugged in using voice commands:

Go and buy an Insignia Wi-Fi Smart Plug (http://bit.ly/2iPANZx).
Download the Insignia Connect application on your phone.
Start Insignia Connect and either create an account or sign in.
