It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4.3. VRRP Operations
The specification of a protocol and its implementation according to its specification is one thing; running it once it is implemented in a network is a different thing. How will the protocol interact with other protocols? Which protocols can be run together and which cannot? Under which conditions is it advisable to run protocol A and B together? When might it be better to run only one of them? All these questions address the operational aspects of a protocol, and they are applicable to VRRP as our protocol understudy.
