How to do it…

The first step is to download the Runecast software:

1. Go to https://www.runecast.biz.
2. Click on Free Trial on the main page.
3. Fill in your information and click on Create Account.
4. Once you are logged in, download the Runecast Analyzer (.ova).
5. Log in to vSphere Web Client and go to the Hosts and Clusters view.
6. Right-click on your cluster and select Deploy OVF Template....
7. In the Deploy OVF Template wizard, select the .ovf file you downloaded. Click on Next.
8. Enter a name and select a datacenter. Click on Next.
9. Select a host or cluster. Click on Next.
10. Review the details. Click on Next.
11. Read and accept EULA. Click on Next.
12. Choose your configuration based on the size of your environment. Click on next.
