The success of your scene depends in great part on what you do with your materials. You could have the perfect terrain model, but the ground up close may look bad because the materials are not as realistic as they could and should be. Vue has a substantial collection of preset materials to use that are just the beginning of what is possible. With Vue's Material Editor, you can create any texture you can imagine: skin, mountain snow, car paint, and beyond. With the exception of the lack of UV mapping, Vue's Material Editor may be one of the most powerful texturing applications on the market.
