The Text Editors
Text editors are what developers use to write the code for their applications. Text editors come in many shapes and sizes today. Microsoft FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver are two popular commercial text editors that essentially create files for you. Even though these products are great, they also contain a number of bells and whistles that can distract you from truly understanding WAP development. Besides, these commercial products are not free, nor necessarily inexpensive.
A better solution is to stick to a simple text editor. You need to know how to build applications from the ground up, writing every bit of code yourself. The only way to learn any kind of programming is to do it hands-on.
