Summary

This chapter showed you how to construct a basic scheduling application which draws its data from a database. We created a scheduling application, which stored the information in a Microsoft Access data table. The application allows an end user to schedule an appointment, display a confirmation of a successfully scheduled appointment, and view past, present, and future appointments.

In the next chapter, you will learn even more advanced skills and techniques for connecting WML code with a database to add dynamic functionality to your applications.
