MUDDY COLORS
Muddy colors result when a mixed color isn’t vibrant. Even though those neutral or muddy colors could work great in some areas, typically, they don’t produce the desired outcome.
Muddy water: If you use a traditional brush and a jar of water, depending on the colors you use, you could end up introducing dirty water onto your painting, thus causing a muddy look. The best fix is to change the water as soon as it begins to look dirty.
